Hi, I'm Jenni
Sit down and make yourself comfortable, I'm glad you popped in.
I'm Jenni, and I've been blogging since 2008, first at Daffy's Garden, then at A Cheerful Living Adventure, and most recently at Snippets of a Life (I like a bit of novelty and experimentation, and feel compelled to move around every now and then - not very good for continuity, I know!)
At first I wrote about my garden, and then other things started to creep in. Making bread, sewing, running, tea and cake in cafes, holidays and weekends by the sea. I write about cheerful things mostly, things I want to remember, things I'll look back on and smile. That doesn't mean bad things don't happen - of course they do - but I like this space to be a haven of gratitude and jollity amidst the everyday chaos of life.
At the end of February 2018, we moved from a terraced house in the city to a farmhouse with 11 acres of land in a national park. I'd love it if you joined me as I learn about country living, keeping chickens, septic tanks and growing food on a much bigger scale than I've been used to.
PS If you're interested, I'm currently doing a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design, and keep a separate blog that goes into a lot of detail about that - feel free to pop over there too: Sage and Rhubarb.
